Where are you located and do you shoot internationally?
Portland, Oregon based. Oh yes I'm lucky with all the beautiful Pacific Northwest sceneries. But also as you know I do traveling sessions for majority of my time. I travel to New York, San Francisco and Bay Area, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, Austin, and Nashville regularly. And many many other places when I'm called on by lovely families and couples. New locations inspire me, I genuinely love to shoot anywhere, a meaningful location for you, your home, an adventurous spot, or just get lost anywhere.
Do you photograph weddings and couple sessions?
YES!

Do you offer installment plans?
Yes!
This is a hard time for all of us, and often families feel like photography is out of their budget. Professional Photography is an investment worth making, and I believe that everyone deserves to have their journey documented. Imagine 10 or 20 years from now, opening your storybook album & being able to not only re-live your story again, but you will be able to share the story of this journey with your children. I’m happy to create a payment plan that is customized to each client.
Where should we take our photos?
Anywhere that is special to you! I can photograph in your home or document your family having good time at the fields or woods, playing in the creek or at the beach, or exploring the downtown area... I’m inspired by the locations, and always down for an adventure.
Also, since I have session all over the places, often I know some secret gems that not well known but wonderful to explore. Feel free to ask for recommendations if you can't decide one.
When should we take our photos?
For outdoor sessions, lighting is usually best in the early morning hours right after sunrise or 1-2 hours before the sunset if you want warm glowing “golden light” look. I’m inspired by the light and comfortable to work with any light at any time of the day. We will have absolutely great time if you want to embrace different light with me, as long as you are aware of light affects the tones of photos.
What should we wear?
Wardrobe should be comfortable and reflect who you are. Colors are better coordinating and complementing with each other than matching matchy; play with textures and materials and add layers and accessories. I love to help with styling, and encourage you to send me pictures of your outfits so I can help to look at colors. I also offer my clients free access to a personalized styling site that’s easy to use to find and select pieces.
